Liurgical Timing
The Christian Community in Vempuzha dates back to 17th century. The Parish was erected in 1792. A catalogue of churches published in 1849 lists Vempuzha as a prominent Church. There were 251 families in the parish in 1928. Considerable mission work was under taken in Karthikapally from 1920. The present church was completed in 1997.
