Nanthirickal, near Kundara, was part of Kanjiracode Parish till 1985. There was a chapel in Nanthirickal and it gained an identity when a Church was built in 1940 by Fr. Rebeiro. Nanthirickal was officially erected an independent Parish in 1985. A convent of the Handmaids of Merciful Love render spiritual service to the people. A CBSE School of the Diocese -Trinity Lyceum offer education facilities to the people of the area. The faithful of the place have started the construction of a new Church.
